Edgewood is located in East Texas approximately 50 miles from both Dallas and Tyler--right at the edge of the East Texas timberline. It is home to the renowned Heritage Park Museum of East Texas, a historical village encompassing twenty restored and furnished structures representing rural life in 1900 Van Zandt County.
